Athlete Revenue Share Agreement

Effective Date: September 28, 2025

Last Updated: January 11th, 2026

Purpose & Founder’s Note

This Agreement establishes an exclusive partnership between Peace in Pressure (“PIP”) and the Athlete for the creation, promotion, and sale of the Athlete’s official trading cards.

“PIP was created to help grow the sport of freediving and support the athletes who make it extraordinary. These cards are more than collectibles — they are a way to share your story, inspire others, and create new opportunities for you to earn directly from your achievements. My goal is that this project not only celebrates your journey but also helps fund your training, competitions, and travel, while bringing more visibility to the sport we all love.”

Jerry Van Galder, Founder & Fellow Freediver

Revenue Share & Payments

Net Revenue is defined as the gross sales price received from trading card sales, minus production costs, shipping, taxes, and transaction fees.

Net Revenue will be distributed as follows:

  • Peace in Pressure: 75%

  • Athlete: 25%

Payouts are made monthly via bank deposit or an approved third-party payout service (such as Wise), accompanied by a sales report.

The Athlete is responsible for providing accurate payout details and may be subject to third-party processing fees.

Customer payments, refunds, and payment processing are governed by the Peace in Pressure Terms of Service.

Responsibilities

Peace in Pressure Will:

  • Produce, distribute, and promote the Athlete’s trading cards

  • Manage fulfillment, customer service, and payment processing

  • Provide sales reporting and timely payouts

Athlete Will:

  • Provide accurate information, photos, and achievements for card creation

  • Confirm that they own or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and releases to use and provide any photos, videos, or other media submitted to Peace in Pressure

  • Represent that all submitted content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party

  • Promote their card(s) where reasonably possible

Grant of Rights

The Athlete grants Peace in Pressure the exclusive, worldwide right to use the Athlete’s name, likeness, image, achievements, and biography (“Athlete Content”) to create, market, distribute, and sell trading cards.

Peace in Pressure may create and sell multiple editions or variants of the Athlete’s card, including but not limited to standard editions, foil versions, limited releases, champion series, or co-branded designs.

The Athlete retains ownership of their personal image and content. This license is granted in addition to the general, non-exclusive content license set forth in the Peace in Pressure Terms of Service, which applies to all users of the platform.

The Athlete represents and warrants that they have full authority to grant these rights and that all Athlete Content has been provided with proper permission from any photographers, videographers, event organizers, or other rights holders.

Exclusivity

During the term of this Agreement, the Athlete agrees not to make, sell, or authorize any trading cards or digital collectibles (including NFTs or variants) featuring their name, image, or likeness with another provider or platform.

Privacy & Data

The Athlete acknowledges that Peace in Pressure will process personal information for card creation, promotion, sales reporting, and payouts in accordance with the Peace in Pressure Privacy Policy.

Requests to access, update, or delete personal information may be submitted to info@peaceinpressure.com. Withdrawal of consent applies only to future promotional use and does not affect existing cards, editions, completed releases, or contractual obligations.

Term & Termination

  • Agreement runs for 12 months from the Effective Date and renews automatically.
  • Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice.

  • PIP may terminate immediately if Athlete breaches this Agreement or PIP’s Terms of Service.

  • Final payouts due will be made within 60 days of termination.

Liability & Indemnity

Peace in Pressure’s liability is limited as described in the Peace in Pressure Terms of Service.

The Athlete agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Peace in Pressure from claims, damages, losses, or disputes arising from unauthorized, inaccurate, or infringing Athlete Content provided by the Athlete.

Taxes & Withholding

Athletes participate in Peace in Pressure as independent parties and are not employees, partners, or shareholders.

Athlete revenue shares are paid as independent compensation. Athletes are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed in their country of residence.

Peace in Pressure may be required by law to withhold taxes from athlete payments, including U.S. withholding for non-U.S. athletes. Any such withholding applies only to the athlete’s share and does not reduce Peace in Pressure’s portion of revenue.

Athletes agree to provide all required tax forms (including W-9 or W-8) prior to payment. Failure to provide required documentation may delay or reduce payouts.
